"For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building."

- 1 Corinthians 3:9

Leadership

Our focus will ALWAYS be Jesus, and we want to help you grow in your relationship with Him.  Whether you've been a Christian for a long time or you've not yet surrendered your heart to the Lord, we strongly believe we're ALL in a constant state of growth, which the Bible teaches happens best in a community with other believers while intentionally investing in those who are unchurched. Have questions? Feel free to ask one of us!

Pastors

Rex Hunter

Rex has been ministering in churches in one capacity or another since he was 18 years old.  He has degrees in music from the University of South Carolina and South Western Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served churches in Texas, Tennessee, and South Carolina as well as a Missionary to Brazil.

"The one thing I have learned in my almost 40 years of ministry is that ministry consists of whatever God puts in front of you at the time.  It is impossible to predict where God will take you or what He will have for you to do.  It is a great adventure."

Travis Boardwine

Travis completed seminary training at Columbia International University (CIU) and graduated with an MDIV. He has been involved in church ministry for over 20 years including student, children, and mission ministries. He has a strong desire to see the church become more than a meeting place, but a Christ-focused community center.

"Everything centers around Jesus, relationships, and growing in our relationship with God."

In Memoriam: Rev. Robby Ott

Rev. Robby Ott was one of our founding pastors.  Since 2006, Robby had yearned for church planting/revitalization. Then, in April 2017, he helped plant The Garden Church. Robby was blessed with his beautiful wife April, and their 4 crazy and unique children (Bryson, Raelyn, Jordan, and Evan) whom he loved dearly. If you would like to make a donation to the Robby Ott Memorial Fund, you may do so through the "give" tab.

Join us for worship Sundays at 10:30! at 1381-C Celebration Blvd, Florence, SC 29501.
